By using the platform, you grant us a license to store, display, execute, and process your submissions for the purpose of operating the platform, including grading, evaluation, and providing feedback.
We may also use submitted materials to improve platform functionality, including enhancing test cases, improving problem quality, and analyzing system performance.
Problems and Assignments
Users, including teachers or instructors, retain ownership of any problems, assignments, or content they create on the platform.
By publishing or submitting such content on the platform, you grant us a license to store, display, distribute within the platform, and use the content to operate and improve the platform, including improving problem quality and related evaluation systems.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Engage in cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty
- Attempt to bypass, interfere with, or manipulate grading systems
- Reverse engineer or exploit the platform
- Use the platform for any unlawful or abusive activity
- Use the platform or its outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve any machine learning or AI model, directly or indirectly, without prior written permission.
Academic Integrity
The platform is designed to support fair assessment. Any attempt to cheat, manipulate results, or submit unauthorized work may result in suspension or termination of access.
Platform Rights
We reserve the right to operate, modify, or discontinue the platform at any time. We may also update or remove content to ensure system integrity, performance, or compliance with applicable policies.
Content Usage and Improvement
We may use submission data, problem data, and assignment data to improve the platform, including enhancing test cases, improving problem quality, and optimizing system performance.
Termination/Suspension
We may suspend your access to the platform at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if your use may harm the platform or other users. Suspension may be temporary or permanent.
Disclaimer
The platform is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the platform or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
